Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra

Sunday evening in autumn is the PERFECT time to rest and renew as we bring to a close a busy week and embark on a new one.
In this delicious 2.5hr session we’ll start to unwind with Restorative yoga – a powerful, therapeutic style of yoga that uses bolsters and blankets to support the body – known to improve digestion, reduce muscle tension, help insomnia and general fatigue, and encourages deep relaxation. We’ll then enjoy Yoga Nidra, a guided relaxation known as ‘Yogic Sleep’ to induce full body relaxation and a deep meditative state. This is particularly beneficial if you are feeling tired, run down, stressed or exhausted. Or simply want to honour the natural rhythms of nature and your body as we enter into autumn. And finally, we’ll finish with a relaxed gathering a lovely warm cup of tea!
All of these practices help to relieve the effects of negative stress we all experience in daily life, and can be great in times of fatigue, illness, overwhelm and emotional strain. Expect to leave feeling deeply calm and nurtured on all levels.
